About this listen

Wolf shifter Knox is thrilled to find his fated mate…until the sassy omega rejects him.

Danny tried the relationship thing, and it ended violently. He has no desire to let another alpha close enough to hurt him…especially not an intimidating stranger like Knox.

Knox has never been called patient. He's grumpy and stubborn, and he's afraid he'll inadvertently push Danny further away.

But when a rogue wolf pack threatens the omegas of Grizzly Ridge, Danny must trust Knox if he wants to escape with his life—and heart—intact.

If you love the omegaverse, possessive shifters, and hurt/comfort vibes, then The Wolf's Wounded Omega is your next must-listen book.

I found this to be a solid and enjoyable audiobook, especially thanks to the narration. Avery Wilde and Michael Norman Johnson complemented each other very well, and their performances added a lot to the emotional depth of the story.

The romance is a slow burn, which fits the storyline since Danny is recovering from an abusive past. I appreciated that the relationship took time to develop rather than following the usual instant-bond trope common in shifter romances.

While the plot includes elements like a rogue wolf pack and an external threat, it remains fairly simple and predictable overall. The main strength lies in the emotional journey and character development.

A good follow-up to the first book, particularly for listeners who enjoy softer, character-focused romances.

Tender, Predictable, but Comforting
