I’ve loved this series but this book had little to no storyline and the angst from the MMC gave me whiplash. Up until the last few chapters I nearly dnf it. The mmc was so cold and distant then near the end of the book he does a 180 and all of a sudden she’s his sweetheart. I’m glad I didn’t waste a credit to purchase this book as it was on offer. Very mundane lacklustre storyline.
