the story has a solid A plot with a conspiracy of murderers and with the B plot, brings the lore ( always the best part of this series) up and moves it forwards. the performance is warm and engaging without blunting the unease and horror.

Thoroughly enjoyed this outing of the band of anti-heroes - a good plot, tightly written

Once again, I try to pace myself but then cannot help myself and rush to listen to the book every free minute. It helps that the narration is superb, as Jeff Harding never disappoints, and of course the story is fantastic as always. Only negative point: now that I'm finished listening I have to wait for the next book for one year!

Another good chapter in the Charlie Parker saga

Perhaps the best thing about the Charlie Parker series are the well developed ancillary characters. This book does not disappoint, good use of both Angel and Louie and the Fulchi brothers take a small but key star turn. Was not as crazy scary occult wise as earlier books but just as frightening with creepy humans causing trauma and devastation. Definitely recommended.
