I love the Magic 2.0 series. I think this is my least favourite of the three, however, but that's because I love the Martin/Phillip dynamic and in this book they spend a lot of time apart. The quest structure was also a little frustrating at times, but it did also open up many opportunities to explore different possibilities in this universe.

But there are still loads of great moments in this book, and you also get to know a lot of the secondary characters more, which was good. Personal favourite moment: the Tree Wolves (I may or may not have scared an old lady on the train when I loudly bark-laughed at this...). I would definitely recommend!

I love this series and was not disappointed with this third instalment. I guess now its time to get on with number four!..... I cant wait !

Writing thie review after reading the next book, great series and good storytelling. With this book the danger was real for our wizard, which i genuinly enjoyed because it added someting that book prior and post loose with the "cant be killed" sort of theme we have with our protagonists. Other than that this series always makes me smile and for that reason they will always have a place in my library.

Overall great book I listen to it every day but there one part where Phillips group take the cart because the towns people told them about it but with brits group they weren’t offered it that’s it no other mistakes and if you like it you should check out the rest of the books thanks for reading this I hope you have a good day :)

Scott Meyer is my new favourite audiobook author but it has to be said that Luke Daniels makes these books the absolute best on the market and you forget it’s one person narrating - must have a split personality!
