If this were a video game, I would buy and play it in a heartbeat. Good mix of cosy baking/homesteading and bigger stakes. I was a little disappointed there wasn't more about being in a young healthy body again, but maybe there will be more in future books.

The narration is extremely well done and would make it worth checking out even if you're not usually into the genre.

This is an epic story. It begins with Archmage Melina struggling to get to where she needs to be so that she can rewind time to save Alemahria. She expected to die but finds herself in the past. She tries to lead a quiet life by become a baker’s apprentice. She tried to stay low key but finds herself in a series of predicaments.
I absolutely enjoyed and loved this book!!
