Clearly you can see the influences to the author - The Hunger Games, The Handmaiden, The Greek epic with the Owl ! … all brought together well

Also this is young adult fiction and I am in no way a young adult but just shows it is a good read for all ages.
Honestly if you liked Hunger Games and Divergent you will love this.
