If your mind is still active, or the day feels like it is lingering within you, this moment is for you. This is a prayer to help you release today and rest in the presence of God. Father, as the night draws in, we come to You gently. We do not need to carry this day any further. We do not need to hold on to every detail. We can place it all into Your care. You are the One who gives rest. You are the One who watches over us. And in You, we are safe. So we pause here. We allow the pace of the day to slow. We allow our thoughts to settle. We allow our hearts to rest in Your presence. So I bring everything from today into Your hands. The moments that were heavy. The thoughts that stayed with me. The things I could not resolve. I place them with You. And I do not need to carry them into the night. I release the tension in my mind. I release the weight in my body. I release the need to keep thinking everything through. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive peace that settles over me. I receive calm within my thoughts. I receive rest that restores my strength. I receive. And now I lie down in peace. Not holding on. Not worrying. But resting in the knowledge that You are with me. God is with you now. You are not alone tonight. You are safe in His presence. You are held in His care. Across the world, wherever we are listening, You are bringing rest. From London to New York, from Nairobi to Manila, Your Spirit is calming hearts and giving peace. Jesús, descanso en Tu paz y confío en Ti esta noche. Jesus Cristo, descanso na Tua paz e confio em Ti esta noite. Jesus, nagpapahinga ako sa Iyong kapayapaan at ako’y ligtas sa Iyo.
