Book twelve of fifteen for the entire set of SIC ITUR AD ASTRA (This is the Way to the Stars). Entitled V-50X: Surface the Giant!, this book is the transcript of the three-session extension of course V-50 delivered by Professor Galambos in 1976 upon realizing, “The extension to the course is necessitated by it becoming increasingly apparent that there was a problem in the course [V-50], in that there was not an adequate discussion of the second postulate of volitional science.”

Galambos would further go on to say that the second postulate of volitional science, which states that “All pursuits of happiness pursued through moral action are equally valid,” is both a “giant” and one of the “most revolutionary concepts of all time.” In fact, the professor stated, with the second postulate of volition, he was improving and expanding the concept of postulates in science. He would go on to say he had named it the “morality postulate,” and V-50X would show why this was so.

During the three-session course, the professor would also expand the discussion of the first postulate, the “happiness postulate,” and its two corollaries. Along the way, a few of the other topics discussed include identifying what a valid thought process is and the role of the scientific method in its determination, the beauty and excitement of epistemology, the first, second, and third approximations to reality, and the purpose of life, along with over a hundred other revolutionary concepts.

At the end of this volume of V-50X, there is an index (Concordex) for this individual volume. Also included in the fifteen-volume set of SIC ITUR AD ASTA is a two-volume “Master Concordex,” being a complete index of the entire work.

The three-volume set of course V-50 and the full fifteen-volume set of SIC ITUR AD ASTRA, consisting of courses V-50, V-50X, and V-201, can be purchased as sets from Spaceland Publications for a considerable discount.
