I think the thing I love most about Carmilla is her wonderful description in her stories. She can transport you to another world so easily. This story is set in Glasgow and even if you have never visited Glasgow (I have frequently) you can just imagine the setting with her detailed description. The story itself packs a full novel into this short novelette giving the reader a condensed injection of horror and survival without compromising the story itself. What a great listen!
