Brilliant story loved every word couldn’t stop listening till the end. Wonderfully read by Jonathan Keeble whose voice brings Ryan to life. Can’t wait for the next book.

Wonderful continuation of the DCI Ryan story, another riveting listen and as always, an outstanding performance by Jonathan Keeble. I did however think there was rather a lot of ‘padding out’ this time so parts were more like a romance novel. Lots of reference to past books in the series to help new readers but I’d definitely recommend listening from book 1. My favourite author and thankfully the new independent book shop in our town has listened to my request to stock them all. Enjoyed the plot and the new characters.
We are going on holiday tomorrow to Northumberland, staying at Keilder Lake and have booked to visit the Observatory, Bamburgh, Sea Houses, Lindisfarne, Alnwick and the Poison Garden etc, all thanks to this incredible series!
