Kirt Graves is one of my top 5 narrors. Lovely tense drama with angst. Kirt as always did a brilliant voice over of The MC in the story. Tara Lain is a new author to me gives you a insight into models trying to make to the top of their careers and the sacrifices they have to make.

I only came across this title having followed Kirt Graves audios. I just love his voice acting which makes the characters vibrate right off the pages and these characters were so well written and a real treat into how good author’s ‘see’ and aptly convey a tale to take a reader on a journey. Didn’t think I would have liked this one but did enjoy the experience and grew even more in awe of Mr Graves talents who made this novel by Tara Tain a throughly engaging surprise that had me laughing out loud and wanting more.

I really enjoyed the book. I loved how the characters and storyline were sort of a take on fairytales. Red mentioned his friend Hans and his sister Gretal as well as a friendly woman the town suspected of being a witch. A mechanic in the town was named Mark Woods. It took me a while to go ' ah, the woodsman.' Although this was supposed to be book 1 in the series, it was released in 2020, it is now 2024 and no other book in the series has been released. It will be a shame if this is going to be the only book because it was very good and I would love to read more about the people in Ever After.
