Dive into the updated recording of Big Rock, now available in duet with Sebastian York and Erin Mallon, and indulge in the friends-to-lovers, fake fiancé standalone romance that launched the #1 NYT Bestselling series!

In my defense, putting a fake ring on my best friend's finger seems like a good idea at the time. My dad needs me to look like a committed guy to close a business deal, so what's the harm in boasting to, well, everyone that I'm the marrying kind of man?

Now, I just need my best friend to help me out and play my fiancée for the next week. Good thing Charlotte has her reasons for saying yes to my plan. Just as long as we agree to zero touching, and absolutely no feelings.

I can do that no problem. And for the first few days, we're pulling off this pretend act like we're going to win an Academy Award.

But pretty soon, all this playing pretend in public leads to a whole lot of temptation in private. Until one night, we break our no touching rule in spectacular fashion.

There's no faking the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets that night, and the next, and the one after.

Trouble is, I can't seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for my best friend.

What the hell have I gotten myself into with this...big rock?

Any additional comments?

Well what can I say? Friends to lovers, one of my favourite reads. Absolutely adored this book. It was the correct mix of funny and sexy. Spencer is such an arrogant rich prick, but I loved being in his head. He was hilarious. Makes a change to have a book written wholly in the man's perspective. I loved that we got to see the vulnerable side of such a hot, confident, millionaire playboy. When Spencer has to reign in his playboy ways for a few days, he seems to think the best way to do that is to have a fake engagement to his best friend Charlotte. A light, funny, easy read that is beautifully written. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Loved it all

I love a good friends to lovers romance, and "Big Rock" definately delivers! I love how nearly the whole story is one giant double entendre. I love the interaction between Spencer and Charlotte; the banter between the two is engaging and it is easy to picture the two together. The only part that I was a bit iffy about was the scene at the ball park. Just before it happened, I was thinking to myself "right about now everyone is going to find out the truth and it's going to be all angsty". I nearly stopped listening then (reading/listening on audible), but before I knew it, it was happening. The ending was wrapped up nicely. The only thing that would have made it better would have been Emily's father crawling back and being turned down, but the emphasis was obviously on the relationship between Spencer and Charlotte (which it should be).

I've got to admit, I really liked the narration. On audible so far, I've listened to fantasy books so when I heard a 'growly' voice talking sex, at first, I burst out laughing. Especially at the start of the book and the first line. I hadn't read the book before so that was definately a surprise! Still I though Sebastian York did a decent job of voicing women, other men I've heard voicing women sound like they're trying to be little old ladies, Sebastian didn't. It was clear when it was a female character even before the "she said" after it, due to softness of the words.

Overall I found this book and narration enjoyable and rate it a solid 4/5.
