I have become such a fan by Jagger. The twist at the end was great. I have listened to all the books in this series.

This is book 1 of a series about a secret society by Jagger Cole and wowsers I enjoyed it very much.
The Black Court is an underground secret society thats serves a brutal kind of justice to those who are doing wrong in the Mafia world.
Carmine Barone is a member of this group of men,he is also known as The Hound in the society..Away from the The Black Court his father is taking a step back from the Mafia,so Carmine has to step up and take over the family empire,becoming the Don.
Carmine is unhinged and cold he will kill and feel no guilt or remorse,but now he has to marry to become the Don.
Lyra is a Ballerina and becomes entangled in Carmines world,because she needs money to pay her mothers gambling debts.She has a past that is tragic and what she experienced as a teenager gives her panic attacks.
Anyhow she discovers the secret society and ends up being forced to marry Carmine when he pays of the debt,but now she owes a debt to the Devil.
Carmine now owns her except he never expects to fall in love with Lyra,she seems to except his darkness.She gets under his skin and he begins to care what happens to her and Lyra discovers her own dark side by liking what Carmine does to her.
The Narration by Gregory Salinas and Ada Sinclair is wonderfully done and I enjoyed listening to them both tell this story.They both did a great job wih their accents and expressing the emotions of the characters..Loved it.
There is alot more going on in this book than just the romance between Lyra and Carmine...and I was hooked by it..I loved the idea of the secret society it was brutal and creepy and very alluring I can't wait for the other members of the Black Court to have their stories.
Jagger Cole seems to have a certain recipe for their stories and it never fails to draw me in.
Dance Of Deception is a fabulous book.
