I have listened to this title a couple of times now, but could happily listen to it again. I don’t know what it is about Jodi’s writing, but she just sucks you into the story. Elizabeth sure knows how to find trouble. Loved every word.

was finally able to listen to the second book now they have recorded this again with the incomparable Zara Ramm narrating. I'm still not quite sure what I think about the Elizabeth Cage books. The 1950s housewife persona makes a bit more sense by the second and third books but it's still quite an oddly middle aged and old fashioned tone. Saying that, Jodie Taylor is always enjoyable even if it's not her best. And I'm definitely curious to see where these characters are going
