I enjoyed this book. Although it did seem like a short story and I don't normally give them a five star -heartbeat are normally over before they get anywhere. This author manages to pack a lot of mystery, deaths and cuteness into the story that I just had to give it a five.

There was a high body count in this book and to be honest everybody I suspected ended up getting killed off, so it kept me guessing. Although I did manage to come up with the guilty party in the end and it wasn't just because of the last man standing rule. The story is told from multiple characters perspective, which lead to a lot of wrong guesses but it is mostly told by Autumn, as she and the dogs, Ace and Chrissy stumble over or find bodies and clues. Chrissy vision gift wasn't as helpfully as it has been previously and I think it was more Ace who solved this case but both are as cute as ever. I love the characters and the bond the family has made, which is why I can't wait for the next book.

Autumn and Ray finally get to go on there honeymoon, by renting a cabin by the lake, this allows them to take both dogs. The night before they are set to leave a family friend phones to say her daughter is missing. Things don't look good when her car is found abandoned by the side of the road. Then the tranquil setting is really disturbed when her body is discovered floating in the lake by there holiday home. It might be Ray's honeymoon but he can't sit on the side lines when a case needs investigating. Then Autumn finds another body with a connection to the first victim and it seems the killer isn't finished. Can Ray, Autumn, Ace and Chrissy find the killer? Or will the killer find them?
I liked the narrator. She helps bring the characters to life and has a pleasant voice that is easy to listen too.
