Echoes of Insurrection is a lot about evolving relationships and to me feels like a bridge to bigger events to come. That said, there’s plenty of action and adventure. Seeing Jin in the flesh is so satisfying.
It’s definitely worth starting with the earlier books to appreciate fully.
The narrator is talented (her voice is Kira for me), but there are a few slip ups in the reading that detract a bit from the experience. Overall good.
