I’ve read so many ADHD books that felt clinical or just plain overwhelming. This one was different. It broke things down in a way that felt encouraging and actually doable. The insights on relationships and decluttering really hit home for me, and I loved how it spoke to both men’s and women’s experiences. It’s helped me see my ADHD not as a flaw, but as something I can work with.

Empowered by ADHD by Eric Von Jares is a proper well thought out guide that gives you solid tools for dealin with life when your head’s all over the place. It’s written dead clear so even the tricky stuff about emotions and how your brain works feels easier to get your head round.
The bit that really stuck with me was where he talks about changin how you see productivity. Instead of tryin to force yourself into strict routines it helps you work with your own natural flow. That shift in thinkin was boss.
The advice is sound and doesn’t try to sell you magic fixes. From tips on focus to help with relationships it’s all stuff you can actually use day to day. He also bangs on about bein kind to yourself which really hits home.
This book’s not about quick wins it’s about makin proper changes that last. If you’re ready to work with your brain instead of fightin it this one’s a belter.
