I love this book. I lived in the Medway Towns until I was nearly 19. It brings back a lot of fond memories of my childhood. The story overall is good, as is Kobna's reading of it - all apart from 1 mistake in his reading. Twydall is pronounced Twiddle not TWYdall. I love this series and look forward to the next book

Heaven only knows why some found the writers device of the flashback so difficult with this book - it’s not as tho it’s a new thing. I found it easy to follow and once I was happy that Peter was still working for the Folly very enjoyable book. Nice to have a new story line and a few new characters. I was finding the MrPunch Faceless man 2 story rather tedious tbh, also on the plus side fewer references to laminated chipboard which is always good.
Excellent story, well read - keeps you guessing but still all under the control of Nightingale.

I love these books and actually prefer listening to the audio books to reading them because of the amazing voice talents of Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
try them, they're great. but start at the beginning or they wont make any sense. :)
