She’s got a brand new life and everything she wants...right?

The sequel to chicklit with a twist Fat Girl Slim.

The hated house of her childhood has been sold, and Alison now has a smart new apartment and a new, exciting career. Everything, in fact, that she’s ever dreamed of. Mother is but a sad and miserable memory. Life is good, life is slim. But then it all starts to go horribly wrong...again, and Alison has to ask herself - is it her? She’s trying her very best to be a good person, but it’s harder than she thought it would be and, if she’s honest, which she’s mostly not; it’s a bit boring. Is she more like Mother than she’d care to admit?

Compared to the first book this story is poor and very predictable. Not sure it is worth a credit

Nothing like the first book

I actually don’t know what I am going to listen to now this has finished! Why isn’t book 3 on audible? I want to know what happens next but it won’t be the same reading it!
Great read... well done Marina!

Loved it!

I think this book and the first are very clever. funny and entertaining but with the depth of character in Alison that we can all identify with. I love how she justifies her thoughts! She lies but with reason. I will play her in a film anytime!

super-duper

Title says it all really from start to finish was very obvious what was coming next however the book picks up at the end & has a nice ending but overall an underwhelming book I enjoyed the first book more. I think the author is great though I enjoy her description & story telling she has potential for much stronger work.

Predictable but an enjoyable listen

I've just finished this, what a boring sequel! A waste of a credit! It's a non-story. Nothing happens, no decent story line, and the narration is so slow, I had to speed it up! This could've been a really good story, but honestly, give it a miss!

Dissapointing!
