John Cleese’s special introductions to each episode are included in this collection of all 12 TV soundtrack episodes:

A Touch of Class
The Builders
The Wedding Party
The Hotel Inspectors
Gourmet Night
The Germans
Communication Problems
The Psychiatrist
Waldorf Salad
The Kipper and the Corpse
The Anniversary
Basil the Rat

Co-starring with John Cleese as Basil are Prunella Scales (Sybil), Andrew Sachs (Manuel) and Connie Booth (Polly), with a supporting cast including Ballard Berkeley, Bernard Cribbins, Joan Sanderson, Geoffrey Palmer, Nicky Henson and Ken Campbell.

Brings back some exaggerated scenes from John Cleese, I used to enjoy these episodes with my parents and helps me chill from todays problems. Very funny.

Great to hear these episodes again

The audio maybe not be as good as the real TV show, but still captures the essence of the British humour that is the characteristic of this unique British comedy that is founded on word-play and their ability to laughing at themselves. We all have met characters like that in the Uk in real life and therefore can relate our personal experiences with the shows! Simply timeless humour!

Simply the best British comedy ever!

A joy to listen to all episodes again- particularly my favourite Communication Problems- and their being introduced by John Cleese was a bonus! Being so familiar with the series, I did not mind the format at all - as others have said, the descriptions brought TV scenes to mind.

Classic comedy at its best
