Finn, who we have met in other previous books in the series, first meets Ulysses when Ulysses is nearly struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. The chance encounter between the two men leads to Finn inviting Ulysses home with him for an anonymous night in the sheets.

This short-story is a great listen leaving the listener wanting more. The two characters are interesting and teases a new seventh book in the series, which will hopefully give both these men their HEA😍

Loved this short and steamy introduction to Firefighter Finn and mysterious Ulysses. Finn helps him after a near miss motorcycle collision, and their chemistry hits off straight away as they head back to Finn's place. Instant flirting, a sultry one night stand, and Finn left pining in the morning.
The audiobook was easy to listen too and the voices for the characters fit so well.
Excited to see the full length follow up for their story.

Enjoyed the characters and the plot. Looking forward to finding out what the fire dept scandal is that was first eluded to in the last couples book. Had to leave off a star cause the flirting was cheesy bad. Plus the "I've never felt this way before" (eyeroll) after 30 mins of meeting and knowing nothing about each other. Ya ok lol.

We meet Finn, a hot firefighter, living in Mission City and volunteering wherever he can.

Then, a tall, dark, handsome stranger on a motorbike saunters into town, the two hook up and then Ulysses departs in the middle of the night without a goodbye or a thank you.

This is a Mission City short that sets up the real story between Finn and Ulysses.

Both men have good character backgrounds, and I love how the story brings in all the characters we've met from the previous Mission City books; however, you can read this as a standalone.

Michael Dean did an excellent job of narrating this book. As usual, I sped up the recording to 1.20 on Audible.
