Summary

The fraud. The imposter. The cheater. The fake. The murderer.

Which one am I?

The guest list for Brit and Joe’s joint bachelor-bachelorette weekend is small and exclusive: the bride, the groom, the best man, a work friend... and me, the maid of honor. I’ve planned every detail to make this a celebration none of us will ever forget.

Expect daytime drinking, poolside lounging — and a White Lie Party designed to help us share all our little secrets.

After all, confession is good for the soul... and one of us is hiding something truly killer.

Don’t forget to save the date!

Love, The Maid of Honor x

A tense and breathless psychological thriller set in the sunny Caribbean with a mind-blowing twist you won’t see coming. Perfect for fans of Lucy Foley, Ruth Ware, Freida McFadden, Shari Lapena, Riley Sager — and anyone who’s ever wondered what secrets their friends are really keeping.

Good varied cast of characters. Story zipped along keeping you engaged and eager for the reveal at the end.

Very engaging story really enjoyed it

So the story overall is actually good but the male narration, must be AI and I wouldnt mind if it was good or even remotely realistic but it was awful. I nearly gave up reading on at least three occasions but had no signal to download another book so had to persevere (thankfully the male characters don't have the biggest parts of the story). I had read other reviews re this and thought they must be exaggerating but it was bad, they even said "cough cough cough" rather than actually cough. Anyhow, the story is actually good so glad I did persevere in the end.

Good story but the AI narration is appalling

this book could have been so good if they used real people to narrate it. I had to use double speed for male voice and the sickly sweet female voice was more suited to a romance novel. the story didnt sound a sinister as the storyline should have sounded

desperate narrative

Intriguing little thriller. Narration let it down a bit but was ok once you got used to it. Enough twisting to keep you guessing too. Enjoyed it!

Good for a freebie!
