Another action packed adventure .
Alex is the English version of Harry Dresden although very different characters and storylines Benedict jacka's storytelling is on par with Jim Butcher....I have enjoyed Alex's adventures and cannot wait for the next book . The only positive thing about this pandemic is that we can escape into another world through books .

To really appreciate this book, I had to reread the last one. It ties up lots of lose ends from the entire sequence. In it Alex undergoes a transformation physical, magical and psychological. Many of the protagonists from earlier books meet their comeuppance, and the scene is set for final confrontations in the next volume.
I would recommend it
