Engaging narrative poetry painting vivid scenes with just a few brushstrokes of language. The characters feel real, and the emotional depth lingers long after the final line.
That being said, the ending arrived suddenly, and I was left wishing for more. But perhaps that's the magic. The books doesn't overstay it's welcome. It's a small book with a big heart.
