If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one. After 17 years - and countless broken bones and broken promises - she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close.
But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she's spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything. Including Ivan Lukov.

Jasmine is a whirling dervish of determination, guts, heart and strength. Shes prickly, snarky and bolshi, but I love her as a character. On the surface she doesn’t take anything from anyone, but underneath she has huge insecurities not least of which is her perceived lack of success in her chosen sport. Ivan is arrogant and cocky, knows his worth, has had huge amounts of success but somehow seems more lonely than Jasmine. They become professional partners on the ice, despite “hating” each other, and this slowly leads to more off the ice. There’s a crazy mad family and a number of four legged friends along the way, and at times it’s comical, at times sweet and sometimes frustrating. It’s a great listen though.
The narration was a bit odd, told from the female perspective the whole way through with the male narrator chipping in his lines, so not the truest duet, but it seemed to work. Both narrators did a really great job, and I just love Teddy Hamilton in this sort of role.
Well worth a credit.
Delightful slow burn

I loved Callie & Teddy’s duet narration, wasn’t sure if I would but it’s so good I think I’m going to start all over again.
Fantastic
