Some things are of their time. I wanted to enjoy this, based on the enthusiasm Bookpilled has for the author, but I really didn't. It is a rather unpleasant little tale about a rather unpleasant little man. Although satire, the misogyny especially has not aged well. I have also struggled with other Malsberg pieces, and I'm minded not to pursue the author further.
