listening as I wait for knockout stage of women's world Cup in Aus/NZ, add to the excitement.

Great story for saphfic and 'football' fans, usual excellence in storytelling wether you like sport or not,
coming out, working abroad, good & bad parental support, discovering ancestry, cheating,, all encompassed, oh and a love story lol
narration is very good, nailed the accents, and translation from American to English
will add to favourite to read again.

ps, sexiest boxing day morning coffee , hot and creamy.

Great storyline with believable characters and the added fun of trying to work out which real life player inspired each character and what real life circumstance inspired which part of the plot. You can tell that the author enjoyed writing this and she has invested a lot of emotional energy here. Added to that, the narrator absolutely nails it; she does not put a foot wrong.

There’s nothing to dislike here! You’ll enjoy the well crafted romance if you’re not into football but if you are…you’ll kick every ball and hold your breath for every penalty. Take a bow, Ms Lydon. Superb on every level. COYS! (Those who know, know)
