Dennis

I’ve had a crush on Mike Tanner, my brother’s best friend, since I was twelve. It’s more than a crush. I love him. He’s the strong, silent type who would give you the shirt off his back. Listening to this story brought to life by Harley Chase was amazing. Den and Mike have been in each other lives for a while. Den has loved Mike for most of his life. Mike wasn’t ready for his love just yet. But den will have him in any way Mike allows. But when Mike starts realize how much den means to him it is incredible. Both of authors does a wonderful job writing both characters

Such a roll of emotion, this story is so amazing. It’s just a beautiful connection of two people over many years, through joint and separate trauma. The amazing way the authors go through this with the characters and take the listeners on the journey with these two is so well done. I may need time to recover but it was worth the emotion to listen to this love build.

The narrator is really good the voice and tempo works so well and really fits. I can feel the emotion through the words and it really worked as a whole. Love this.

I love the audiobook! Harley Chase has such a pleasant voice.

Courtney Dixon and A.E. Jensen have delivered a highly emotional story with It's Only Love! I was sobbing from the very first chapter. The tragic event that affects Mike's whole life is described so intensely that you immediately sink into the book and can't let go. I sobbed, laughed, swooned and fell in love with Dennis and Mike from the very first moment.

The two authors take an in-depth look at Mike and Dennis' childhood and youth. This gives you a front row seat when it comes to witnessing their growing feelings.

I also love how detailed the area where the story is set was described. I felt like I was hiking through the woods on the Pacific coast with Mike and Dennis, enjoying the wonders of the fauna and flora.

Courtney Dixon is one of my favorite authors. With It's Only Love I had the pleasure of getting to know A.E. Jensen and I am thrilled! I wholeheartedly recommend this book, but highly recommend reading the TWs!

Listening to this brought back just how much I enjoyed this story. How much of a crush Dennis had for Mike and the length of time without let up. The realisation Mike had when he realised he fancied Dennis. The brotherly love that Aaron had for Dennis and how far he would go for his brother. All this and more felt real listening to it. My heart broke listening to Mike breakdown. I was laughing when Dennis was being Dennis. Harley Chase is one of my favourite narrators and I am glad that this book has been made available on audiobook, as now I have the choice to enjoy this story in whatever format I want to.

Reread as audiobook. Wonderful narration, adding a lot of emotion to the characters.
Story - 4.25 stars. Two delightfully authentic MCs living in a beautiful location. Mike and Dennis were childhood friends together with Dennis's brother. Mike didn't recognise his deeper attraction for a very long time, and therefore, the really slow burn felt very natural. I particularly enjoyed Willow and the wildlife descriptions. It is a very warm and solid story with realistic representations.
