Its different fromthe other book but great fun to hear things from William's POV

A book of essays by William Brown

I loved it apart from the fact that in chapter six William mentions that London isn't as good because only poor people must live there and I think that could be quite insulting to some people. otherwise it is a really nice story.😃

all right

The William of these stories somehow doesn't quite match the William of the 3rd person stories. It's quite entertaining if you can try to separate it from the original William Brown, and it is never a trial to listen to the narration of Martin Jarvis.

Not quite the real William

I must echo what other reviewers have written: this set is not as good as other William audiobooks because it is a selection presented in William's 'voice'. Apart from losing some of Richmal Crompton's wry humour, the tone of the book is now closer to the Molesworth stories – a list of amusing but one-note schoolboy grievances. However, it's still entertaining and Martin Jarvis, as usual, is superb.

Not as good, but still William

This is an amazing audiobook

I love that we can now see the world through Williams eyes and what he thinks about the world

Just brilliant!!
