Dr. John Warwick Montgomery
Law is fundamental to human society and is one of the grand themes of Holy Scripture. Dr. John Warwick Montgomery taught a full-year course in jurisprudence - the philosophy of law - at the University of Bedfordshire in England. Here is the full cycle of those lectures covering the history of legal thought from ancient times to the present and the central topics in the field (legal reasoning, legal ethics, the foundation of law, etc.). The orientation is unashamedly that of biblical Christianity, taught with verve, humor, and a total abstinence of political correctness.

The first half hour is administracive detail for the course delivey in the year the recording was made. This could have easily been cut. Complaints by the leacture that an auditor cut his grades last year abound though out the recording. Again that could have been cut without impacting on the content. A lot of I am so clever quips and I would suspect that JWD comes from the American Bible belt based on other remarks.
Due to being a live recording of classes that assume on students having read ahead of class the content does not build from first principles. So treat this as a skim of jurisprudence if it is your first exposure to the subject or a way to see someone elses view of the subject if you have already read a book or two.
With clean up and extensive content editing this could be usefull.
