Unfortunately not for me. I managed to finish it but it was a bit like an average TV drama all a bit simplistic but obviously lots of other people enjoyed it so I suppose it's a case of horses for courses!

Loved this book. Being read by the author makes it special. Tiny naughty bits are very funny. Great story and lovely descriptive writing. Definitely makes me want to visit those islands!

Enjoyed Lorraine’s voice reading this book. It sounded like an authentic voice for her characters. The story with its twists and turns was I’m sorry to say quite predictable and the revealing of the big secret towards the end was not nearly as shocking as I’d hoped for. It left me feeling a bit disappointed. I’d hoped for more after all the publicity. Sorry!
