The first time she knew real happiness was when she found out that the man who raised her wasn't her real father.

She thought there couldn't be monsters in the world that were any worse than the monster she had called 'daddy' for most of her life. Then she stumbled into the world of demons.

The Demon King knew the second his fated mate had been brought into the world. After living years too numerous to count, it meant little to him other than to keep him from living as he had. He now belonged to only one female—and he would have to wait years for her to mature enough to matter.

How stupid and vain he had been to think that his fated wouldn't matter. The very moment she entered his club, he knew he had been wrong to ignore fate.

She was his. He would destroy everyone that hurt her, even if he had to burn the Earth realm to the ground.

Narration was good story was not, even though this was a supernatural story it seemed so unbelievable. I didn’t see great chemistry between the main characters and I gave up after 55%

Boring started off well but nothing really happened

I have lisen to this story and number of times and have enjoyed it overtime I have discovered it yet again. Oh to have your own demon king ,..the tender relationship between him and his mate is truly swooned and very sexy; their relationship is strongly contrasted against the truly cruel humans who have raised and tourchered his mate. Well narrated I strongly recommend strictly adult content.

A beautiful demonic violent tender love story

I enjoyed the story. just felt that it was rushed. And the suspense was not really there. The father, there could have been more to that story. His story. Anticlimactic, so this was your truth. And ended there. Overall did enjoy the story.

Little bit sweet. Little bit nice.

The storyline was ok, lots of potential in the world build, but overall felt rushed and lacking in any real substance.
Voice actors did a good job with what they had to work with though.

Bit Meh

I enjoyed the book more than I expected. The writing style suited my need for more build in a book. And I was invested in Juliet as a character nearly straight away. Her pain and horrid childhood, the bullying, the abuse, her introvert ways, I could relate to on some level through experience or witness and it made it easy to slip into Juliet and Varek's world.

The book contains demons, witches and vampires. Staged on Earth, with humans living unaware of supernaturals among them. This book can be a standalone, as the series is a book for each King, Varek and his brothers, with the main character focusing on the FMC and how they come to be in their lives. The connection between the books is the brothers and their unknown story leading to their banishment.
It's written in dual POVs of Juliet and Varek. Fated mates, who choose to allow the bond to stick and jump into insta-love. While also dealing with Varek's Stalker, Juliet's bully and a threat to demons from dangerous drugs.
Med to fast burn, once they start it's fast all the way. High spice, lots of smex, smut is okay nothing very special.
End in a HEA and a me liking Juliet more as she accepts who she is and gives in to the inner badass we all have
