About this listen

Malcom’s Fall is a gripping urban novel about loyalty, survival, and the price of power in the streets of Harlem.

Malcom Porter had potential. A bright future. A scholarship. But when his older brother is killed, he trades textbooks for territory and becomes a name feared in Harlem. As enemies rise, trust bleeds thin, and betrayals cut deep, Malcom must decide whether he’ll rule the streets like a king—or break the cycle before it buries him.

From block wars and blood debts to backroom deals and broken dreams, Malcom’s Fall captures the raw heart of urban life and one man’s fight to reclaim his soul before the streets claim it for good.

For fans of Sister Souljah, K’wan, and Teri Woods—this is more than a hood story. It’s a warning. A lesson. A legacy.

This book isn’t my usual goto, but I really enjoyed it. Beneath the storyline, I felt there was a hidden message that not all things can be saved and that gave the story real depth.

The narrator was a brilliant fit, his deep voice flowing through each character with ease, adding so much atmosphere and emotion.

For me, it’s a solid 10/10 both for the story itself and the narration.

The Story. The Voice
