Having an understanding of WHY someone would choose to not have alcohol and digging into dry January and Sober October helps to fully embrace this lifestyle. The health benefits are clearly outlined and paint a picture of this as a piece of true wellness.
The tips on cravings and withdrawl seem super helpful as well as the emotional and social aspects that were addressed.

The recipes are super tasty, and you can not tell by looking at them that they are nonalcoholic. The book is easy to navigate to find the perfect recipe. I loved the narrator; his voice is fun and entertaining. I have never been a big drinker but am so jealous of the super cute drinks that are made with alcohol. I found this wonderful book on mocktails and am so excited.

This is a great idea. When I was pregnant I was into mocktails, but since have been into more real cocktails. I could definitely see the benefits from transitioning back to more mocktails. This book offers healthier alternatives without missing out on the social component. The recipes section is a great bonus too. I really like the focus on staying away from sugary alternatives as those may be worse than the alcohol. Highly recommend.
