When widow Mrs Pargeter has her morning coffee, her intention is to admire her beautiful garden in peace and quiet. An excellent and exciting story brilliantly read by Simon himself I love all the Mrs Partridge to books the way her and all her associate investigate different crimes murders et cetera. They’re absolutely brilliant. The late Mr Parita certainly sounds an interesting character.

How I love Simon Brett - witty, entertaining and great plots in all of his series of books and I recommend them all . He is one of the very few authors who given his years of experience in radio drama actually narrates beautifully. I like other listeners would love to be in Mrs P’s gang !
