i took a chance on this one and wow, it is really good! now i have to go around and wait for book 2.

not a unique idea but done well and with enough character and world building to stand out and be very good. only gripe was at times over explained emotions and parts too much, made parts seem like author was trying to drive point to a small child or ruined inpact by over explaining.
