I am loving this series by Eva Winners! The Belles and Monsters delivers a great romance and thrilling suspense keeping me engaged and excited! This book features Nico, and he is everything I love in an anti-hero. He is borderline stalker, always having his eye on Bianca, even when she was married to another. Once she grieved the death of her husband though, he made no secret that he was going to marry her. Blackmailing is the easiest way to get this arranged marriage done quickly, and I have to say, though there is an ulterior motive, Nico is nothing but loving and attentive. But this does not initially win over Bianca. Despite the attraction, she knows she holds a secret that could blow up the entire mafia world, and this scares her. Will Nico still protect what is his once the secret is revealed? Will Bianca ever give him her heart? And what will become of this world once her secret is out? This is a fun one. Full of twists and turns, and the surprises are big! I loved it, being able to get to know Cassio a little and see Luciano again. It's a fast paced, exciting listen and now I can't wait for Cassio!

PJ Morgan and Xander Marceaux bring this gem to life. Morgan is perfectly cast as Bianca. She is strong on the outside and mush on the inside, but her facade is set. I love that we can interpret it all with an inflection! Marceaux is protective, alpha male and full of confidence. I love that his voice is commanding, but still almost like a hug! It's the perfect mix with these two and it gave me hours of entertainment.

This thrilling mafia romance had me hooked from start to finish. The chemistry between Nico and Bianca was electric, and their love story was intense and heartwarming. While I loved the steamy moments and the plot, I felt there were missed opportunities for Nico to connect with Bianca's children, which would have added depth to his character. Nevertheless, it's a captivating standalone read in the Belles and Mobster's series, perfect for fans of mafia romances.

I kinda regret wasting my credit but I’ve done this before anyhow the story hmmm Bianca is very Un-relatable, annoying and predictable she’s literally just like the other fl in this series and any other stories with fl characters like this she’s obviously attracted to him before he forced her into a marriage but then she’s like I need to stay away from him the next minute then it’s I will keep it only physical plus we’re only gonna be married for 2 years then I will leave “ yeah right 🙄 and on top of that Nico talking about she has backbone yet she spread her legs for him in a restaurant WHAT BACK BONE?? She even agreed to the damn marriage and willingness to sharing a bed for him 🙄 my eyes can’t roll any far but if it could 🙄🙄…plus the revenge plot like what person who supposed to hate the father jump into bed with the daughter 😒 everyone is just horny in this story.

Story was good, could have been more spice. The female narrator was good, but there was something missing with the male narrator, not quite enough emotional range in the narration, quite a monosyllabic tone, which I believe took something away from the book
