Summary

A fantasy/horror novella, Our Monsters Are Real takes place in the summer of a small, Midwestern town called Edlund. Daryl, the farm boy hero, is soon to graduate high school and uses an unknown source of magic against a morbid family. What a wonderful little gem of a horror story! Surprisingly good story with a King-feel to it. It kind of unravels into a rushed gore-fest in the last 20 minutes but the story up to that and wonderful narration saves it. Definitely worth a listen!

I will be honest at first I didn't know if I would stick with this or not but I'm so glad I did. loved it! it's just a really good listen, the characters aren't annoying it's written brilliantly, well worth listening to, I hope there's more to come
