You wake. Confused. Disorientated.
A noose is round your neck.
You are bound, standing on a chair.
All you can focus on is the man in the mask tightening the rope.
You are about to die.
John Wallace has no idea why he has been targeted. No idea who his attacker is. No idea how he will prevent the inevitable.
Then the pendulum of fate swings in his favour.
He has one chance to escape, find the truth and halt his destruction.
The momentum is in his favour for now.
But with a killer on his tail, everything can change with one swing of this deadly pendulum...
You have one chance. Run.

Critic reviews
I read Pendulum in one gloriously suspenseful weekend. Definitely one of the best thrillers of the year (James Patterson)
James Patterson calls it "one of the best thrillers of the year", and it is plain to see why...told at a great pace, has a strong central character and a snaking plot
Adam Hamdy's Pendulum is something new . . . kinetic, cinematic and bracingly original (Barry Forshaw)
A heart-pounding hit
Adam Hamdy's thriller definitely justifies its previous hype
Top crime! Hamdy aces it . . . a heart-stopping, high octane killer thriller (Northern Crime blog)
I loved Pendulum. I loved the characters, the way the story plays out, the interwoven threads . . . so subtle, yet so brilliant and unexpected (Bibliophile Book Club blog)
Pendulum is well worth the hype and attention (A Thirst for Words blog)
Adam Hamdy . . . puts you bang into the heart of the action . . . an absolute joy to read (Liz Loves Books blog)

Very mild spoiler alert
It's narrated with background sound clips thrown in so it was off to a bad start for me
It's just complete nonsense really made worse by super human characters
You can jump out of a two story window breaking your collar bone take two ibuprofen and carry on as normal
Kill 7 security men including trained PC's whilst running firing a Glock 17 9mm hitting your target pretty much every time, oh and the last few kills whilst nursing a badly damaged hand. I forgot to mention this followed getting up after being tazered
It just goes on, if you like the above you are going to love this, otherwise maybe not so much
Not as good as I hoped
