This is a good listen and the authors story is truly harrowing. The narration was awful, making her sound like a 8 year old child throughout! It did not add anything to the story and was just irritating, spoiled my enjoyment somewhat.

Very compelling book. Shows how people maybe not with the best start in life can end up becoming vulnerable and easy targets for nasty people. Samantha is such an inresting person and you really like her. Highly recommended and the narrator is great too.

This is one of the most heart wrenchingly sad, inspiring, and dark, yet insightful true stories Iv come across. I experienced every emotion and couldn’t put the audio book away! Its made me view the world around me with both appreciation for what I have, and a feeling of wishing I could do something to help those who are in situations that make them vulnerable to the evils in this world.
