Absolutely loved this book. it's a great intro into the splatterpunk genre, and it certainly doesn't hold back on the detail. The story is paced well and doesn't reach any points where you feel yourself losing interest in what is about to unfold. It really pulls on every emotion and is well worth the read/listen. Looking forward to exploring more from this author.

I loved the story, one of the best horror writers I've read/listened to. You definitely need to check warnings before listening or reading his stuff.

not for faint hearted

A "SHOCKING" CONCEPT FAILS DUE TO INEPT WRITING AND OVERALL DULLNESS. having sat with this for a while it's clear asides from a "viral infamous moment" there is very little teeth or substance to this book. Having kids as the focus might upset or offend some but the pain or gore inflicted on said children is miniscule so the "OMG ULTIMATE SHOCK FACTOR" is truly diminished. if you're of a nervous or weak constitution you'd find this book extreme but if you've even dipped your toes into a horror novel you'll ultimately be very very bored.
