This is the 2nd book of the series and I am absolutely hooked. The stakes are just as high, but Rogue is up for the challenge. Will definitely be listening to the 3rd book! Would recommend!

First off I want to say I absolutely loved the first book and listened to it all the way through (had a long car ride) BUT this sequel was somehow even better. This first book sets the pace and this one certainly knows how to keep up. You feel the intensity and high-stakes with Rogue's new rule as queen and find yourself rushing trying to solve each mystery and puzzle in hopes everything ends up alright in the end. This book is somehow both long and not enough at the same time, but I am the type that gets very invested in stories such as these and just want to find out how things end so you bet I am already running to the third book!

It is a fast paced listen that keeps you guessing about who is truly an ally and who is simply playing a part. If you enjoyed the first book, this installment definitely keeps that momentum going.
