About this listen
I do what I do because I believe the human soul is the most valuable thing on this earth. As a kid, I was raised in church and hated everything about it. I was forced into a "relationship" with God, initiated by the fear of going to hell, and was told that I had to walk a straight line to get to Heaven. This left me angry, rebellious, hating God, and even going as far as atheism for several years of my life in my mid-teens. At 16, I started experimenting with drugs & alcohol... heavy drinking, xanax, ecstasy, cocaine, percocets, and steroids.
Then at 17... jackpot, OxyContin. It would be 11 years before I would shake my addiction that got up to $500 a day due to my 800mg daily consumption. In order to sustain that lifestyle... I built a life of lies, manipulation, and of course, theft. After stealing from, lying to, and destroying every close relationship I had... it seemed like my life was all but over. So what did I do?... I cried out to God.
