this book is an amazing read , I highly recommend it. this young boy has been to hell and back through the care system. it makes you laugh and then cry. brilliant read .

I absolutely loved this book so much, I’m so glad I listened to it and could hear the author’s voice talking about his life the way he did. My heart broke for him, I cried at so many points but then laughed out loud as well at points. Being Scottish too so much of the language and people described reminded me of folk I’ve known or seen in the past. I would just love to hear more about how he got out of the place he was and to where he is today. I was genuinely so sad to finish this audible.

Such a well written book! The narrator describes horrific situations with vivid clarity and delivers his story with graphic detail and raw emotion combined with a touch of humour, it makes the book difficult to put down. An inspiring story of poverty, neglect, abuse and survival. Highly recommend.
