A shadow follows Sophie. Watching. Waiting.

Her instinct tells her that it's someone she knows. But who? The man she met Internet dating? The nurse caring for her ill mother? Or is her mother faking her illness?

The only thing she knows is that she can't trust anyone. Sophie must delve into a dark history to reveal her stalker. But there are some stories that should never be told.

Critic reviews

"So many interesting characters that I ended up suspecting them all, but then the story twists and you're like... what?! Loved it." (Shalini Boland, author of The Girl from the Sea)

Total thriller

All of the twists and turns keep you entralled. Great story of the highs and lows of friendships and family relationships and how they affect the lives of those conerned. Thought provoking.

A compulsive listen

Gripping story with a twist and absolutely unpredictable

An enjoyable listen and an interesting story. A look at people’s dark sides, and a great performance by the narrator.

This is the third Sarah Denzil novel that I have listened to and I think I’m getting a little addicted. Her style of writing is uncomplicated, so easy to listen to, but very personal, being delivered in the first person.
She has managed to produce an interesting, suspenseful storyline around a painful mother and daughter relationship, hinged on dementia. Not easy, but she carries it off beautifully, with a fabulous twist at the end. Most entertaining.

Entertaining
