It means you can kill a young girl's father, turn yourself into some kind of hero, and live your best life while I have to stay silent about it.
It means you get to tell a story that keeps everyone afraid and not know why they even need to be afraid.
I've had enough of "allegorical". It's time the damn truth came out.
My granddaughter is about to marry the man whose family buried it.

From the beginning I was keen to find out what would happen next. I expected a clever retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, but it turned out to be so much more. The story is engaging and thought-provoking, exploring prejudice, fear, and the consequences of believing without questioning. Although it’s set within a familiar fairy tale, the themes feel incredibly relevant today.
An enjoyable story with moments that made me stop and think. The characters felt real and emotionally believable. As the family secret unfolds, the story becomes increasingly powerful, making you reflect on history and on the choices people make when faced with injustice.
I’d highly recommend The Falsehood. It’s a book that gives you plenty to think about, but also enjoyable to listen to. I finished it within 2 days!
