Like the hunting party these books aren’t going to win the booker prize. You have to go into it expecting fairly one dimensional cliche characters and that’s the fun of it! They’re just a bit of guilty pleasure listen. It’s brilliantly narrated and having a different narrater for every character really adds to the story. I also found this to be a much more satisfying ending than the end of the hunting party. Can’t wait for the next one

Well read enjoyable listen

Interesting & compelling until the end. The narrators were great except the main man who sounded v odd throughout. Managed to get all my bulbs put in my garden (always a good sign I’ve enjoyed a book).

Much better than expected after some reviews- a good reason not to read them!

Definitely worth a listen! Although some of the narrators were better than others, I loved the different voices for the different characters.

Initially it felt that this was going to be a chick lit book, but it turned out to be an excellent thriller with some truly shocking plot twists. Kinda disappointed to finish it which, to me, is a sure sign of a good book.

Not chick lit - so much more!
