I didn't realise this was a young adult novel and bought in error. I listened nonetheless, and while not for me it was entertaining and sophisticated enough. 4 stars cos I would have loved this many years ago, and to mark down because of my mistake would not be fair.

I did not see where it was going and I think it is good that it highlighted how different people cope with situations.

Like another listener I hadn’t realised it’s a YA novel. Nonetheless, it’s entertaining and gets the right level of tension and complexity of relationships in the YA genre.
Worth a listen if you’re 15+!

Just not one of her best. I don't mind YA, have listened to many before when I want an easier listen, and it's a pretty decent story, with a good narrator, just has a weird added bit in the middle that I was kind of left feeling, what? just doesn't feel very polished.
