Ashley Corbin, a former tennis prodigy turned prosecutor, finds herself entangled in a high-profile rape case in the small town of Freeman’s Gate. Listener received this title free

This book will make you think and break your heart. It will devaste you and leave you feeling, in this current political environment, like the story is potentially real, possibly familiar, somehow relatable and worrying. And for that reason alone, I recommend it. I cannot say I enjoyed the audiobook but it was a very worthy listen that has left an indelible mark on my mind.
