This book is amazing. It has a solid plot, hilarious interactions and well fleshed out characters. There is a lot of dark humour. I could see this being a hit Netflix TV series.

When I first saw the description, even before a voice sample was available, I knew I was going to love this.

Safe to say I was not disappointed.

The protagonist is a bit of an oddball but that makes him all the more enjoyable to follow along with. As a pun enthousiast I was thrilled with the good humour he sprinkles into the tale.

The story felt to me like a slowly unfolding flower, spreading revealing more about the world and its history. Quite a joy to see unfurl such an interesting world.

The narration was good, with some well placed character voices.

A very fun and upbeat and listen overall.

Really enjoyed the story idea, characters and narrator. Came to this after Dungeon Crawler Carl and He How Fights With Monsters and it stands equal with them. Strongly recommend

Went in blind and got hooked the first 15minutes. Not many things have made me giggle on the subway - this audiobook is one of those things

Funny and intriguing story. I think the only think it really misses is intriguing twists and turns which i think mother of learning- a book with a similar premise, really excelled in. But regardless, the characters are all fleshed out and unique and the story is amazing. Definitely recommend it.
